Activate License

Have you already received a license number from DiKAS — for example, when moving your existing system to the new DiKAS cloud? Then you can activate your system yourself in under a minute. No new registration is needed.

How to activate

Open the activation page (the link is in your activation email or letter) and enter your license number and your password. A click on Activate is all it takes.

What You Need

License number	Your license key in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX — from your activation email/letter
Password	The activation password you were given

Step by Step

1. Open the activation page — via the link in your activation email.
2. Enter the license number (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
3. Enter the password.
4. Click Activate.
5. Your system is unlocked and prepared. For first-time setup, this can take one to two minutes — please keep the window open until it finishes.
6. Afterward you'll see your instance address and can log in to the POS right away.

Choose your own admin login (optional)

Only during a brand-new first-time setup can you use "Choose your own admin login" to set your own username and password. If your existing system is simply being activated, log in with your existing login details.

After Activation

Your DiKAS is ready to use right away — with your familiar master data. Log in via the „Zur Kasse anmelden" (Log in to POS) button. From now on you'll reach your system directly at your instance address (your-name.next.dikas.de).

If Something Doesn't Work

Common messages

• "Invalid license number or password" — please check the spelling (license number with hyphens, password's upper/lowercase).
• "Please try again later" — the setup was briefly unavailable. Wait a few minutes and activate again; retrying is safe.
• "Too many attempts" — for security reasons, the system pauses briefly after several failed attempts. Try again in a few minutes.
