Delivery platforms and ordering systems — overview

Orders reach your business in different ways. This page shows which delivery platforms and ordering systems work with DiKAS and where to find the respective guide.

At a glance

Ordering channel What DiKAS does Guide
Own online shop Own ordering website with menu, pickup and delivery — without platform commission Online Shop
QR ordering at the table / self-service Guests order at the table or counter themselves Table self-ordering, QR ordering & self-service
Delivery platforms via the Delivery Platform Connection Lieferando, Wolt, Uber Eats, foodora, MJAM, Deliveroo, Just Eat Takeaway.com and more: orders arrive as delivery orders, acceptance, rejection and status changes go back to the platform Delivery Platform Connection
Uber Eats direct Direct connection with its own Uber login, store selection and connection check Delivery Service → Delivery platforms
GloriaFood Orders are imported via webhook Delivery Service → GloriaFood
Own web shop or own app Interface to read articles and tables and to place orders Delivery Service → Own web shop
Phone and counter Caller recognition via Fritz!Box, ordering directly at the POS Delivery Service

All channels end up in the same delivery service: orders appear in the Online tab, go to the kitchen and — if you deliver yourself — are assigned to drivers and routes.

Requirements and scope

Connected through the Delivery Platform Connection; activation per restaurant, a contract with the respective platform is required. Which data a platform exchanges in which direction differs per platform: DiKAS receives orders and reports acceptance, rejection and status changes back as far as the platform allows. Whether a platform is available in your country and for your restaurant is clarified with you during activation. The names are trademarks of their respective owners.

What DiKAS does with a platform order

  • creates a delivery order (with source and platform order number),
  • takes over items, options, surcharges, discounts and service fees,
  • takes over the platform's delivery fee,
  • books orders already paid online as paid,
  • prints the kitchen tickets after acceptance,
  • reports acceptance, rejection and status changes to the platform.
